Romantic Love

Here is the text of Dr. Cochran's show on Romantic Love

Romantic Love

Dreams Do Come True

There are many Wonderful People who make 'Wisdom, Love and Magic!' possible.

At the moment, other than myself, thay are all men. And I call them my

"DREAM COME TRUE GUYS."

I'd like to introduce you to:

Sam Youmans, AKA Radio Guy

Sam is the voice you hear in the opening and closing of the show. He has been with Matrix Media doing production work for many years, he is also promotions manager for KTAR. For more information on Sam and his incredible voice go to Sam's page on Facebook.com or LinkedIn.com

Dr. Ted Kastelic, AKA Music Guy

Dr. Kastelic is an extraordinary musician and I am happy to say is a friend of the show. He wrote the 'Wisdom, Love and Magic!' theme music and gave it to me as a gift on the air! For more on the talented Dr. K and his amazing music go to innerjourneymusic.com

Michael Cosgrove, AKA Producer Guy

Michael's undergraduate degree and overriding passion is in computer science with a 'side' of music and sound and video engineering. In his last vocational incarnation he was a Marketing Director for a biotech company in Silicon Valley. I was fortunate enough to persuade him to give up all that and work for me! You can contact Michael at mcosgrove@sfhc.com

Dr. Cochran said what...?!

"To be selfish is to be selfless"

"Fear is a wonderful teacher but a horrible master"

"Life is a process of becoming, but it is not always a becoming process"

"A marriage is like a stool with three legs: passion, play and productivity. You must keep all three legs strong or the stool will go down"

"We are all stupid sometimes, but to stay stupid takes time and effort"

"You can't have success without failure"

"You can't hide or 'move away' from your past, because everywhere you go, there you are"

"The best way to deal with stress is to partialize and prioritize. Break things down and do the most important things first"

"You can't have light without darkness"

"Be careful what you ask for becasue you WILL get it. There is no maybe to this one, it's just that sometimes what you ask for may arrive in a very unexpected way. So pay attention!"

"There are five rules of shame. 1) You don't know what you know. 2) You don't see what you see. 3) You don't feel what you feel. 4) To tell the truth is to betray. 5) You can't have a need that someone does not or might not want to meet. Be sure to break all these rules every day and you will live a happy life."

"Parents, remember, no makes yes all the sweeter. So say no and mean it and say yes and mean it too. Be consistent and follow through"

"Watch your behavior, I guarantee your kids are"

"Don't be your kids friend, they have friends at school. What they need at home is a loving adult who knows what the heck they're talking about, at least most of the time. In other words - a parent."

"There are only a few basic rules every kid (parent) needs: 1) Follow directions the first time. 2) Before you go to bed put your things where they belong and put your dirty clothes in the hamper (or other designated ara). When you wake up make your bed. 3) Use your manners: Please, Thank You and Excuse Me. 4) Whan you get angry you may not hit, call names or destroy property."

"We always pick our parents as romantic partners and spouses. I'm not talking about personality here, I'm talking about fundamental characteristics. This will be true throughout your lifetime. However, you do have a say in whether they are 'same as', 'worse than' or 'new and improved' and you will make that decision based on whether YOU are 'same as', 'worse than' or 'new and improved'".

"The universe is what you see it as being, what have you chosen to see it as, a place or plenty or a place of paucity?"

"You can always have a 'do over'. Just take responsibility for your behavior and make amends."

"When you pray, meditate or ask the universe for someting it may not be handed to you on a plate, so to speak, but you will always be given the opportunity to make your potential a reality."

" Challenges and disappointments are gifts wrapped in packaging you may not like. But they're gifts just the same. Be sure to say thank you for all your gifts."
